1. Who we are
OZU Marketplace (“OZU”, “we”) operates a cross-border marketplace that lets Shopify merchants sell to international shoppers. OZU acts as the merchant of record for orders placed on OZU storefronts: when an international shopper checks out, OZU creates and processes the order, arranges international shipping, and provides tracking. 2. Whose data we process
- Shoppers who purchase through an OZU storefront.
- Merchant users (brand staff) who use the OZU dashboard.
- Visitors to OZU storefronts.
For a merchant’s Shopify store, OZU processes personal data only for the orders OZU originates. We do not access or store a merchant’s pre-existing customer lists.

We practise data minimization — we collect only what these purposes require.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment processor (Razorpay). OZU does not store full card numbers; card data is handled by the PCI-DSS-compliant processor.
5. How we share data
- Merchants — the brand whose products were ordered, to fulfil.
- Sub-processors — hosting (Google Cloud), payments (Razorpay), shipping carriers, email delivery — only as needed.
- Legal — where required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
OZU is a cross-border service; data is transferred internationally to fulfil orders. We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) where required. Infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud.
7. Security
Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest; least-privilege access; access logging; HMAC-verified webhooks; separated test and production data; encrypted backups.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, per our data retention policy.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR/UK-GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your data, and to object or opt out. Contact sangwavishvendra@gmail.com. We honour Shopify’s data-request and redaction processes.
10. Children
OZU is not directed to children and we do not knowingly process children’s data.
